August 31, 2021

ATLANTA (August 31, 2021) – Beecher Carlson Insurance Services, LLC (“Beecher Carlson”), a specialized large account insurance broker, announced today that Andrew Golub would take on the newly formed role of Chief Innovation and Analytics Officer. He will report to Beecher Carlson’s Chief Executive Officer, Joe Siech, in this new role. Included in his responsibilities will be identifying areas of growth within existing and targeted classes of business, leading the development of service offerings and/or insurance products to stay ahead of developing client needs, and training Beecher Carlson teammates on the implementation of newly created products, services, analytical tools, and applications.

“Beecher Carlson has long believed that risk management without passion, innovation, and accountability is just buying insurance. Innovative companies don’t just look for trends; they predict them and proactively develop solutions to get ahead of them,” stated Siech. “By having Andrew focused on innovation, we are going to be able to accelerate the pace at which we can develop innovative products and solutions that will help our clients improve the way they identify, quantify, mitigate, and finance risk.”

Prior to his role as Chief Innovation & Analytics Officer, Golub served as Chief Analytics Officer for Beecher Carlson, leading his team in the development of quantitative, data-driven tools to help clients make informed decisions related to risk. He has more than 14 years of experience in the fields of commercial insurance and risk management analytics.

Before joining Beecher Carlson in 2010, Andrew served as the Director of Analytics for OnPoint Underwriting (an MGU). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics from Kennesaw State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science and a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Risk Management from Georgia State University. The Georgia State University Risk Management Foundation presented him with a Rising Champion Award at the 2017 Risk Science and Insurance Leadership Awards ceremony. Golub was also the first person to attain the CAS Institute’s Certified Specialist in Catastrophe Risk (CSCR) designation.
