Beecher Carlson COVID-19 Guidelines

March 14, 2020

Please see the following update from Chief Executive Officer, Joe Siech, regarding Beecher Carlson’s guidelines for teammates during the evolving COVID-19 situation.

March 14, 2020 Dear Beecher Carlson Client, As we monitor and evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on our local and global communities, we want to take every precaution we can to take care of our most precious assets, our teammates and our clients. As such, we are taking the following steps to do what we feel is the socially responsible thing for the safety of our teammates, our clients, and our communities. It is with this mindset that we have made the following decisions. Travel Restrictions Effective immediately, we are instituting a two-week travel ban for our teammates. If you as our client feel that it is essential that a Beecher Carlson teammate attend a critical meeting, we respectfully request that only one teammate attend, and we teleconference or video conference the balance of the team. We request that all travel that was planned prior to Monday, March 30 be cancelled. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and advise whether the restriction will continue past March 30. Recommended Work From Home All teammates are being encouraged to work from home when practical to reduce the exposure to our offices. Again, we will continue to monitor the situation and communicate if the Work From Home policy will continue past Friday, March 27. We have asked that any meetings that were scheduled to take place in our offices during this time be cancelled. Please know that we are making all the necessary arrangements to ensure business continuity during this time. Our teammates are in constant communication and will be taking advantage of the technologies in place so that you will continue to receive the same high-quality service you have come to expect from Beecher Carlson. We know this situation is causing a lot of uncertainty but want to reiterate our commitment to maintaining our business operations and ensuring you receive the highest quality service without disruption. Thank you for your support of Beecher Carlson. Please feel free to reach out to your account representative or me directly should you have any questions regarding these policies. I would also encourage you to engage with our teams about business and risk management issues you are facing. We are in the solutions business and will do our best to help deliver value to you and your organization during this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in Beecher Carlson, Joseph M. Siech Chief Executive Officer
