Mary Pipino

Mary T. Pipino serves as Executive Vice President of Beecher Carlson and President of Real Estate Risk Management and Placement. She has more than 35 years of experience creating innovative, analytic solutions focused on clients’ bottom lines and improving their total cost of risk.

Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Mary was the sole owner, President, and CEO of Donald P. Pipino Company, LTD (PIPINO), a prominent insurance risk management firm in the real estate industry.  Mary’s client-focused innovations include a proprietary full-service Claims Management Program with TPA, a Certificate Monitoring Program, and Financial Risk Management Services.

Mary joined her father’s company, Donald P. Pipino and Associates (DPPA), in 1982.  After DPPA became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Company (Gallagher) in 1994, Mary earned the company’s London Award, was named Gallagher’s first female Area President in 1995, and became the Niche Managing Director and Practice Leader for Shopping Center and Mall Developers.  Mary then went on to purchase the former DPPA back from Gallagher in 2008. In February 2019, Mary joined Beecher Carlson with the goal of creating the most powerful, client-focused insurance risk management firm in the industry.

Mary is a University of South Florida graduate and has obtained her Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Mary is actively involved in organizations important to the real estate and insurance industries. She also is a certified fitness instructor.
