Pete Kranz

With more than 20 years of experience, Pete  leads Beecher Carlson’s Captive Practice. He began his career in public accounting and gained significant experience in auditing, tax, and business advisory services. In 2005, Pete joined Beecher Carlson, managing several of our largest Vermont clients. He has served clients’ consulting, accounting, and regulatory needs, developed policies and procedures for various insurance programs, developed operating efficiencies, and designed and implemented unique captive programs while building strong client relationships.

Pete is a graduate of Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an Associates of Science degree in Business Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Vermont, and has presented on captive insurance for the VCIA, CICA, Captive Live USA, A.M. Best, and CPCU chapters as well as other industry groups, in addition to providing content for various publications including Captive Review, Business Insurance, Captive Insurance Times and Risk & Insurance. Pete serves on the Strategic Planning Committee of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association and the Legislative Committee for New Jersey.
